I can’t run any longer, lord
I’m so sick and bored
Of this same old road
I’ve been going down
Yeah, I’m going down

So I put down my pack to rest
No more toil and stress
Maybe for the best
Only one way out

This whole world is such a mess

But I don’t want to be alone now no more
I don’t want to be afraid any longer
So I set my sights on something true
I find the things I sought in you
Again

Still a brother and still a son
So I make amends
For the things I’ve done
And I didn’t do
What I didn’t do

Mark the corner but turn the page
Feeling something strange
Maybe it’s this age
Well, about that now

This whole world is such a mess

But I don’t want to be alone now no more
I don’t want to be afraid any longer
So I set my sights on something true
I find the things I sought in you
Again
